In the last decade Google, now a household name, has gone from merely a search engine to an internet superstar. Once only for finding new and interesting sites on the web, they now have their hands in seemingly everything, from blogging to today cellphones. Google even has been buying up companies such as On2 [
link] and making some (if not all) of their software open source.
All of this sounds great, but whats the catch. Is there some price were going to have to pay? Seemingly there is no ulterior motive by the big G, they make all their money off of their ads. In the end Google seems like a friend to all of us internet goers. Only time will tell what Google plans are, but I for one welcome our new Android Overlords.
